30 years of passion and expertise led to the birth of Kottok Motors. With a childhood curiosity for taking things apart and exploring their inner workings, two strong passions emerged: custom automotive design and electronics. This journey was fueled by avidly watching TNN/Spike TV’s PowerBlock and enrolling in computer programming courses during high school. The money earned from a computer game programming competition kickstarted my automotive journey, as I purchased my first car, a 1953 Chevy Sedan Delivery. Weekend visits to the local ⅛ mile drag strip further ignited my love for cars. My education continued at WyoTech, where I graduated from collision and refinishing, and street rod fabrication programs.
Fusing my tech knowledge with the automotive world, I worked at a friend’s car audio shop and attended car audio competitions. Throughout the years, every vehicle I owned underwent modifications. Around two decades ago, I started envisioning Kottok Motors, staying attuned to industry trends, embracing the latest technology, and never losing my passion for cars. Today, this journey has brought us to Kottok Motors.
1982 KZ 1100 A2
This fully restored and modified KZ1100 started out as a box of parts. The frame was completely stripped down and powdercoated. The stock rims and other chassis components received powdercoat treatment as well. The motor was completely rebuilt, with upgraded clutch components, an 1173cc bore, high-compression pistons, and hot street cams. The wiring harness was completely rebuilt, with new waterproof connectors and protective sleeving. Instrument cluster received the digital treatment, with a new gauge set from Koso. A custom designed and 3d printed gauge mount and fairing was created. There are many other upgrades completed, such as dual stacked projector headlamp, custom stainless braided brake lines, custom seat, custom tail, aftermarket sportbike rearsets, hydraulic clutch conversion, and upgraded coils.
1979 KZ 650 D (SR) *FOR SALE* $2500
A great specimen of the late '70s, this bike was destined to be restored with minimal changes. Everything on this bike is original, aside from the updated gas rear shocks, bluetooth radio, USB power where the cigarette lighter used to be, and custom windscreen. The bike was stripped down to its frame and rebuilt. The frame received a touch-up paint job. The battery box along with chassis components such as the stands and rear swingarm got a fresh coat of powdercoat. The wiring harness was repaired in a few spots where the connections had corroded badly or were broken. A wrap was completed on the panels and fairings in a beautiful metallic blue with chrome pinstripes.

1990 GS500E
The first custom motorcycle I completed. Only some minor changes on this one. New paint on tail fairings, tank, and instrument cluster bezel. Polished passenger grab bar. LED turn signals. Clubman handlebars.
1987 Ninja 500
Here is an example of a naked streetfighter conversion. It's a bit of a rat-rod, done on a very limited budget. Front fairing and cowling delete, clubman handlebars on a custom mount, Jardine exhaust, LED turn signals, and textured paint on tail fairings.
